The HR Business Partner is a personnel management expert who collaborates with company management to align HR strategies with business objectives. Consequently, in addition to knowing how to effectively manage staff, they must be able to read and interpret a Business Plan.

The Business Partner must know how to read organizational data and be able to predict and process it, as well as knowing how to juggle the main organizational tools.

The activity of the HR Business Partner are transversal to those of the HR Manager and provide:

  • Support for business decisions regarding personnel management;

  • Supporting the HR Manager in operations- personnel search and selection;

  • The evaluation of worker performance through the use of specific analytical and objective tools;

  • Internal organization of the company and, if necessary, measures aimed at reducing management costs;

  • Investigations into the internal climate of the company and the possible resolution of conflicts and critical issues. The Business Partner is essential especially in the phases of change of a company and in the event that it becomes necessary to implement organizational changes; in the latter case it will support the HR office in organizing training courses for staff.
