
Soft Skills Course
The goal of the Soft Skills Course at MF Business School is to help participants understand the value of soft skills and how they differ from hard skills, by developing awareness and mastery of the main transversal competencies, such as teamwork, problem solving, emotional intelligence, time management, and effective communication.
The course also aims to strengthen active listening and assertiveness, and to improve the ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive way.
Course Contents

Introduction to Soft Skills: Definition and key concepts, differences between hard and soft skills, why they are considered “wicked competencies”, why investing in transversal competencies is essential, soft skills as meta-skills and “dynamic capabilities”.

Effective Communication: Basic concepts, communication styles, and the three levels of communication.

Active Listening: Key characteristics: openness, empathy, suspension of judgment.
Main purpose: understanding viewpoints, motivations, and emotions. Practical examples and exercises. -
Feedback and Constructive Criticism: Definition of feedback, differences between positive and negative feedback, characteristics of effective feedback. Constructive criticism: rules for applying it. The role of feedback in leadership and team management.
Duration and Format
Depending on the requesting company’s needs, the training can be delivered through: Online Learning, or Face-to-Face Learning, with a strong experiential focus
